What better way to dust off the blog rust than with a beautiful birth story?
If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a million times: I LOVE being a mother. From the moment my doctors placed my warm, gooey little baby on my chest to just minutes ago when I laid my youngest son down in his crib, I covet every wonderful (and not-so-wonderful) day that I am given the opportunity to be a mother to my children.
On the same note, I LOVE watching other women (especially those dear to me) become mothers as well. And this story…this woman…is dear to me.
This little boy was SO incredibly wanted. SO incredibly hoped for. SO incredibly loved.
I honestly do not have words that could really iterate how just down right AMAZING it was to witness the very second that Niki became a mother, laying eyes on her little boy for the very first time, holding him, kissing him, and loving him like no one else can.
I could probably try all day (as I have)… and type and erase, type and erase.
Instead, I invite you to see for yourself …the day Niki and James learned a love that is like no other: Elijah’s Birthday. (<—-click there!) 🙂
