Well, it’s official! Summer is over as of tomorrow in the Sapp House! Both boys are off to school tomorrow. It’s a bittersweet day for me…I know I’ve mentioned I am looking forward to fall – especially school and ROUTINE, but I would be lying if I said I wan’t a little nostalgic already. We have had a wonderful summer…full of late night trips to the pool, slumber parties in the living room, trips to the lake, random ice cream runs…we even met Mickey back in May! I have truly enjoyed my children these past few months and I’ve tried so very hard to find that balance while working and still being my number one job: wife and mom. It hasn’t been easy (more on that another day!), but “they” say nothing good ever comes easy, right?!

If an effort to start the blogging week off with a bang, I’m sharing a recent maternity session that I love completely! Kortney found me through an photography group that we belong to and she traveled one state over to see me! I was truly flattered! It’s nerve wracking (at least for me) to photograph someone in the industry, but Kortney and her family made my job so easy. Her children are precious (you will see for yourself), and she was glowing (and not just because it was a blazing hot August afternoon)!

Thank you Kortney for trusting me and traveling all that way! I look forward to meeting your precious little boy soon!
